Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

So the nest is getting a new look.
The nest (and bump) will be changing format to the same one the knot is on. Local boards will switch first, and then the other boards in a few weeks.
The best news (IMO, lol) is that mods can now edit and DELETE posts. We can also now ban users (so you better watch yo-self KIDDING)
Some other changes that will happen include:
-Local boards will have tabs that link to The Knot, The Nest, and The Bump to make visiting local boards on all three sites easier
-Left navigation drop down will include all boards for easy access, but can be minimized if you don?t want to see all boards at once.
-New ?Threads I?m Watching? feature to keep your recently viewed/posted threads available for you.
After this mods will only be able to mod their own board, so if you interesting in being a moderator for a board that currently does not have one, please let me know. Thanks!!

I asked bump kathleen to re-consider the buttons.
They are a terrible idea. How many of us like to mix nestlife and RL? Only a very few. The beauty of this place is that you can be as anonymous as you want to be.

Well they are getting rid of the buttons and you CAN view in bump mode.
I'm not a fan. I don't like all the white space or something. And I don't like that it posts the subject on every single reply.
I suppose I will adapt with time.

TN isn't all that gorgeous as it is now. Beige and taupe and avocado? ugh. Trading fugly for fugly isn't a horrible trade. lol.
But...but...I like green.
