Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

That's weird - my post count goes to 14200ish in the new format!
Sara - I agree on the FB thing. I think that's really dumb!!
I read on some other boards that they are removing the FB/twitter thing due to complaints.
Fortunately my nest email isn't my FB email, so I think I would be safe. But still, I wouldn't be able to whine about my FB friends anymore on here, which would be a shame

Oooh. I actually like the layout much better. It seems cleaner than the super cluttered version they have now. But if it connects to FB then I *really* don't like that. I hate how things always want to connect to FB now!
And I also don't like that if I click "My Posts" now it takes me to the annoying profile version, not the simple list where I can quickly check if anybody has responded to those threads. Lame.

Ok, good! There's a reason that I have a generic SN ! I do NOT want my family/friends to easily be abl eto stalk me. Also, if someone "liked" a gripe you posted on here that was about someone you know, that would totally suck for the whole world (inc. that person) to see it!

Meh, if someone wanted to really find you on here, they will... but it's good TN is deciding to not make it any easier for them. Plus, nothing could be posted to FB without your approval anyway, but regardless... we don't need the social media involved in all this more than it already might be.
