so we got admitted to the hospital yesterday around noon. once we got to the pediatric unit the nurse took his vitals and immediately went and got the respiratory therapist to get him on oxygen. that was a bit scary for me but made me glad we were here. they did the iv and all that and that's about when Dan got here. eli was so out of it I have never seen him like that. at about 7pm he had perked up and we got to take his oxygen off til bedtime. he ended the oxygen again overnight. this morning he has been happy but annoyed he can't walk (his iv is in his foot). however he isn't healthy enough to go home today and will be here until at least tomorrow afternoon. another thing that stinks is that I am getting a cold. keep the t&ps coming.
