I need a new over-the-shoulder boulder holder

What brand/style do you wear and do you like it?

Keep in mind I'm carrying around Ds-DDs (depending on manufacturer). Those underwire free triangle bras aren't gonna do it for me.

This is my siggy.

Re: I need a new over-the-shoulder boulder holder

  • I like the Calvin Klein ones. I don't remember exactly what they are called, but they are smooth and don't show under shirts. AND I have a weird size and I can always find it.

At Nordstrom Rack, they are about $16. They are closer to $40 at Macys. I think.

  • I like CK too. I've found them at Dillards and Belk if you have those in your area.
  • I really liked figleaves for my nursing bras, because I went from a "I can buy stuff off the rack whereever" C to a "BWOOPBWOOP MAN THE TORPEDOS" DD/E.  I know HS swears by them.

  • I swear by Soma Intimates for my regular bra needs.  They're available in small band large cup sizes (I have 32DDs), which most brands aren't, they're sturdy and hard-wearing while still being pretty and giving a nice line under clothes, and they're as comfortable as an underwire is going to get.

On a daily basis I just wear a sports bra, though.

Outside of the house? When you are not working out?! What?!?

  • I go to the Maidenform outlet nearby and get their $10 clearance bras. They always have a great selection of decent-looking styles and colors. I'm a 34DD now, but when I was heavier I was rocking a 36DDD and they always had that size available, too, so you shouldn't have trouble finding sizes!

Yeah.  Why is this so shocking?  I do wear a shirt over it.

My sports bras are not comfortable. All that tight azz elastic. And I have never seen a flattering one.

And this just convinced me to never give birth.  I LIKE MY C's!

  • Really?  I think mine are just about the comfiest things ever.

I will admit that my underwires are more flattering, but hell, I'm a small person with very round DDs.  Squashing them down a bit doesn't look so bad.

  • My current favorite is Le Mystere.  They're expensive but I love them.  Chantelle is another great brand.

I have a hard time finding my size (32C) in regular bras.  I'm in that in-between...not small enough for the ultra-padded 32As, but also not large enough for D or DD.

  • I'm obese so I wear Lane Bryant bras.  I'm a 40DD which is hard to find otherwise.

Shut up Mort! You have large tatas, you are not obese. TAKE IT BACK!

  • Uuum Gap Body?  And Target?  *hangs head in shame*

LOL...okay. I will agree that they are large!

  • Broc, it's bewb stories like that that make me afraid to get KU. I'm going to make Jessica Simpson look small-busted.

And Mort ... who is Scooby Doo? Did you get a puppy?

Yes, Scooby Doo is our new puppy!  He's a little terror (he's also a terrier, but terror fits him much better right now)!

He ripped a big hole in my robe this morning when he jumped up,latched on to the back of it and ran...yep, big fricken hole!  It was a nice feece one too.

  • chantelle and wacoal are my go to bras for the porn star balloons I carry around. I get mine at Nordstrom rack, the clearance rack at dillards or nordstrom and I used to be able to find them at the Neiman Marcus outlet.

  • I wear Cacique from Lane Bryant, 44B size which is fat girl small boobs size.

  • I LOVE the back-smoothing bras from Lane Bryant. I used to be a 42DD, but through the wonders of diet and exercise (Ha.) detailed in my ticker, I am down to a 36C, which is the smallest size they have in those. I will be a sad panda if I shrink out of them, although I hear that Soma has something similar (although, of course, more expensive).

  • If there were a Nordstrom Rack around here, I'd be very poor.

Looks like there's a Soma about an hour away. I might head there next weekend. It's in the same shopping center as the Coach and Lululemon outlet, so I may end up poor anyways.

You'll pass right by one in May...

Kuus, do you not get uni-boob from your sports bras?
