Re: TGIF
Unless my body starts to cooperate with me, I'm going to spend the weekend getting over a nasty sinus infection that is also triggering my asthma. I'm bummed because I'd like to see a certain special someone but I'm just not up to the drive this weekend (he lives 3 hrs away)... so maybe next weekend....
Being sick makes me feel super lonely... there are many times I long for a relationship, someone to cook for, share my day with, cuddle with though generally I'm content with this season of life and truly happy but when I'm sick it's the one time when I get emotional about it, feeling lonely. I feel emotional, I want to cuddle and have someone love me enough to bring medicine and/or a meal... sigh... one day maybe. Most days it doesn't really get to me and I'm truly content and happy in life but when I'm sick and stuck at home... I feel how alone I am... I mean I keep asking but my doggies wont make me soup or go buy me medicine... though they are happy to give me hugs and kisses.
... and on that note... the "someone" just texted.
Hope you have a great weekend ladies!
Lindsay so glad E is better and home!
Crystal feel better!
Today - T's boss is getting promoted this afternoon, there's a big ceremony and then a reception. I'm not going to the ceremony, but the reception is at a nice restaurant tonight, so I'm doing my wifely duty and dressing up and attending. At least I don't have to make dinner tonight
I also have to run to FedEx and send out the signed closing documents for my house. Two houses sold in the last 3 months! Woo hoo! Only one left and we will no longer be homeowners with 3 mortgages!
Saturday - T wants to keep working on building the shed in the backyard, I want to go to Buy Buy Baby. We'll see if we can do both, also see what the weather's like if he can do the thing outside.
Sunday - mass, relaxing, laundry, probably hanging some pictures up around the house.
We don't have much planned for the weekend. Sunday afternoon, there's a tricky tray at the 4H center on Sunday that me, my sister, Mom, MIL and granny are all going to. Aside from that, just the usual chores, church and errands.

TGIF is right. What a long week!
Tonight: Going to sears to purchase a string trimmer and blower. Fun stuff, huh? Hopefully we can go to a nice dinner somewhere (both Ryan and I received work bonuses today!) and maybe grocery shopping.
Tomorrow: Meeting a friend for lunch, paint store to pick up paint to start on the basement, shopping for myself then meeting two other couples for dinner.
Sunday: I have a baby shower to go to for a former co-worker. I RSVP'd and said I'd attend but now I don't want to go. I will feel awkward since no one I know other than her will be there. I need to suck it up and go, though.
Long week indeed!
Nothing really planned for this weekend and I could not be happier! This is the first time since the weekend before Valentines Day that we have not had plans both nights!
Hoping to do lots of cooking, clean the house, run some errands and relax!
Today: Kenz and I are going to go to story time at the library this afternoon. My sister and I might go to hot yoga tonight if she is feel better - she's been sick.
Tomorrow: Friends of ours are having a game night that is baby friendly so we will be going to that and just putting Kenzie to bed there in her pack n play.
Sunday: No set plans
I'm making a crap ton of baby blankets. Everyone and their dog is having a baby so I'm making a ton at my cousins cabin.
And eating, lots of eating
Glad to hear E is getting better!
Today: I subbed in Kindergarten (I am a sub on Fridays) and then tonight I think DH is bringing home take out and we are just going to have a nice night in.
Tomorrow: one of my college friends was supposed to be coming up to Boston for the night, and we were going to meet up for dinner, but because of the nasty rain that is predicted for tomorrow, they might wait and come next weekend, so tomorrow is still up in the air. Hopefully the day involves working on our bathroom!
Sunday: more bathroom work, hopefully going to pick out some flooring, and then doing some grocery shopping.
Today: We are running some errands and hanging at home. If A's knee is feeling up to it we are going to the gym tonight.
Tomorrow: A and I are taking the dogs to the park w/ some friends and their dogs. I have book club in the evening w/ my sorority sisters. A is going out to dinner with some friends.
Sunday: Church and then I am meeting A for brunch when he gets off work. We are renting some movies and hanging out at home and getting the place straightened up. Also, I am studying, nothing new there.
Today: Lucas and I hit up one of the consignment sales Tara posted about a couple of weeks ago. We scored AND I only spent $40!! Tonight: Taking Lucas to our school dance.
Saturday: Going to consignment sale #2 in the morning. Then hosting another thirty-one party. After that's over I'm not sure what we are doing.
Sunday: Church, Breakfast, Kite Festival. BIL's g/f's birthday so we may do something for her. Getting ready to go back to work.
Tonight: Survive tornadoes (we're in the high risk area for anyone watching the weather channel), watch basketball.
Tomorrow: Watch more basketball (hopefully!)
Sunday: Church and choir concert.
Today: Cleaning, laundry, finish the baby quilt(s) so I can bring them away. Possibly dust the house.
Tomorrow: If the house isn't already cleaned I'll do that, some baking since I'll have the family over for coffee after church on Sunday. Possibly do some more painting on the tree in the baby room. We'll see how motivated I am!
Sunday: Church, coffee at our house with the family, and relaxing.

Today: Make it through the day. I'm miserable with a cold. Date night tonight and then collapsing on the couch and maybe watching a movie.
Tomorrow: Sleep in, run a few errand, possibly complete our taxes, get an oil change.
