weight loss

Ive been trying to lose weight lately ( husband too) and wanted to see if you girls had any dinner ideas?  Im tired of making the same old stuff just because i know the point value on weight watchers..

and just because im excited, im down 8.5 pounds!

  • I've been trying too. Dinner has be stumped, especially because I have to feed two of us, and I hate chicken! It's like every single dinner recipe starts out with "a pound of boneless, skinless chicken breasts" And I stop right there.

    But congrats on the weight loss! You've lost what I gained in the 10 weeks of being pg.. so I need to lose that and another 5 pounds to be at my wedding weight again! I feel like I'm right back where I started ugh

    This might be part of my problem, but I do really well during the day, and usually cook whatever for dinner. I still try and eat sensibly but my dinners are not planned via healthy/points value.

    Last night we had chicken sauted with green peppers and onions and a side of quinoa/brown rice. Not my fav but it was quick.

  • I always ate really low points breakfasts and lunches (and snacks), so that I could eat worse for dinner. My favorite weight watcher dinner is "baked turkey and jack cheese chimichangas" (google it and you'll get the recipe), we also liked to make this taco pasta only we substituted fat free half and half http://mexican.food.com/recipe/chicken-taco-pasta-202327 (we top it with cheddar cheese, tomatoes and green onions).
