Discussion topic- Limbaugh calls student 'slut'
This was posted by a local news station on FB, and the replies from other viewers are totally pissing me off.
Essentially they agree with Rush, although some do think he shouldn't have called her a slut, about what paying for contraceptives means.
Limbaugh claimed that "she's having so much sex she can't afford the contraception. She wants you and me and the taxpayers to pay her to have sex."
Is he really so closed minded that this is what he thinks about a 3rd year law student??!! Or is he just trying to stir up his listeners?
You'd never know that when I left for college I was considered a conservative. I guess going to a liberal arts college helped open my eyes.

I thought it was utterly disgusting. It's one thing to have strong views, but it's another to blast someone for speaking up in opposition to you. I feel that his words were harsh, unwarranted, politically inappropriate, and just plain ole dumb. I mean, I've never taken him seriously, but... seriously? And now he's saying that if we (women) want them (men) to pay for our birth control, we should pay them back by posting videos of us having sex?! Yeah, don't know if you caught that article today. I think he just wants to be an @$$. No one is this friggen stupid. Right?

Furthermore, this country is dealing with a huge bullying problem.
And if this is the example that our "grown-ups" set for the kids it is no wonder. If a grown man can't even state his point without being reduced to name calling and put downs how can we expect our children not to go to school and do the same?
