Yay! Hopefully TN finally has their shiznit together so we don't have to deal with these outages anymore!
Nothing really planned for this weekend. Just at the can't really go anywhere, waiting stage. So we checking some final things off the to-do list.
I'll be living vicariously through everyone else's plans!

I just thought it was reaaaaly slow this morning until I noticed there was no change on any other boards either. I think TN hates Fridays.
I have no plans this weekend, except maybe cleaning up the house some more. I will mostly sit on the couch with my feet up and probably rent "Puss in Boots" and maybe talk DH into getting cheesecake from Cheesecake Factory. We will see.
yeah also no plans this weekend... well dinner tonight w/ friends but that's it.
strange thing this no plans thing. but i'm okay with it.
next few weekends i have shoots so i'm going to take advantage of sleeping in and doing nothing tomorrow...

We have a busy and exciting weekend.
Tonight DH may be working late, so our plans are still up in the air for right now.
Saturday morning he has to go into work for a few hours and I will probably run a few errands while he is gone. Then we are going to dinner with some friends for my birthday and I can't wait.
Sunday--Happy Birthday to me
We will probably go to church and then maybe out for lunch. DH is taking me to dinner for my birthday, but I haven't decided where I want to go yet.
April 2010 Siggy Challenge: Next Vacation Destination
My weekend will be busy! Tomorrow is my town's annual St. Patty's/drunkfest when 50,000 idiots take over the town to get trashed. For us this means our annual "get out of town" day. We're planning to drive up a big outlet mall that's about an hour away and do some shopping. Plus we're going to run some errands. The glider I ordered over 2 months ago so we're going to pick that up tomorrow, I can't wait to sit in it! I can barely get off the sofa anymore.
On Sunday we are going to Long Island for the baptism of DH's best friend's little girl. A bunch of our friends are going, so it should be nice.
Nothing too much going on here!
Tonight: On my own b/c DH is working
Sat: Gym, weigh in and dinner with my brother and his GF in the evening
Sun: No plans...DH is working, so I'll prob stay in my pj's all day!

Didn't they cancel that this year???? I have friends that live in Hobo that always "escape" to NYC that day. Horrible!
Tonight we don't have any plans, just dinner and gym and TV. Tomorrow we have a bunch of errands to do together, and then we are going to my friend's bday party at her new apartment. Sunday, I'm not sure...probably just chill out at home.
Speaking of TN issues - have you seen (on other boards) the talk about a Facebook and Twitter link under posts? Ummmm, I don't like that idea. If stuff that's posted on here is going "public" on other sites, then I won't be posting anymore. What the F is that about???
No fun plans really, just going to Joann to get some baby fabric and patterns.
TN thing is scaring me a little bit. We are all careful to not put a lot of identifying information on here, but now it is going to tie into our FB account? We will have to see how this all plays out.
I think they moved the parade to cut down on the craziness, but I doubt it will stop people from showing up.
I've seen that, but I don't fully understand it. You can see the changes on the local boards. From the rumors I've seen going around if someone "likes" your post it will show up on FB/Twitter. Kind of defeats the purpose of an anonymous message board. But how are they going to link the accounts if you don't give your info? I don't get it, but yeah, I won't be posting here either.
They cancelled the parade in an attempt to stop the madness, which served to do nothing but p*ss off the people who legitimately enjoyed the parade. The big thing this year is "Lepre-Con", which is a privately organized, city-wide party on the day the parade would have been. Most people are expecting it be as bad as ever, if not worse, since people see it as a way to give the mayor and council the middle finger for trying to curtail the party. I know we were invited to at least 3 parties taking place tomorrow, and most of our friends are leaving town!
Remember last year when I was bitching about coming home at the end of the day and finding my apartment building completely trashed? What fun. I can't wait to move...
Okay, so apparently they aren't doing the FB/Twitter thing. The masses have spoken and they listened.

Finally a weekend free of IL parties! Of the 8 weeks in 2012 we've had parties to attend with ILs for 5 of them & I'm happy for the break.
Salad lunch with my mom at church tomorrow afternoon then sushi dinner later on at Crave in Dearborn with a few sorority sisters. The rest of the weekend I'll be in bum clothes chilling out!
@ Lori - I REALLLLY hope you have a less eventful weekend than you did last year. That really s*cks!
Good thing the nest listened about the FB/Twitter issue. I would miss this board SOO much but I consider this my "safe" place to vent about things and chat with you ladies about life. I don't always want that stuff all over social media. What a dumb idea!!
Ditto this! What TN should do is create an Android/Iphone app for us to chat on here on our phones easier :-)
