This weekend is going to be pretty laid-back. I'm doing some laundry and just generally getting the house clean. Probably go to the IL's for dinner and just enjoy the weekend.
Oh, and I got the job! Training starts on Monday, so it should be good. It is an evening position on Friday and Saturday, so I will still be nannying during the weekdays.

I was in the hospital the last two days, Russ drove 800 kms to come pick the boys up and take them to my sisters house yesterday for me. Apparently I have shingles in my stomach muscles, it's quite painful so I'm sitting in bed ripped on percoccets right now. Going to sleep a few more hours then going to get my oil changed if I can function properly. My sister is keeping the boys tomorrow and Sunday I'll hopefully be well enough to go pick them up.
Yay! The Nest is back!!
We don't have any plans for this weekend. Maybe I'll see if Jim wants to go shooting.

Last night was a busy night for us with soccer practice and all that, but the boys were so good yesterday and I slept good again.
Another full weekend for us go figure. Tonight my cousin is having a bday party he is turning 8. Tomorrow we have soccer game at 9am and then going to get baseball stuff since that starts next weekend. Sunday we are making our first trip to home depot since buying the new house to invest in some paint, kilz, rollers, and paint brushes. I hate painting so I am not looking forward to this step.

I have a busy weekend ahead - dinner with some of my girlfriends tonight, which I am VERY excited about. I haven't seen some of them since before I got KU.
tomorrow I'm going to the tattoo shop with Sean while he gets his half sleeve finished. it'll be good to catch up with my tattooer, and I'll probably get some reading in while I'm waiting. tomorrow night we'll be celebrating a friend's birthday at her house.
Sunday we're having brunch with our friends who are getting married in St. Thomas this month. can't wait!

That sucks I had shingles last fall. Wait until you are itchy all over it is the worst. I am surprised they gave you pain killers they told me that they wouldn't do anything.
Today is school, homework and finishing my resume. I am hungover today, apparently partying like I was 21 is not a good idea. Tonight is my FIL birthday so we are out to celebrate.
it's a memorial tattoo for his grandfathers who have both passed - he's got some firefighter stuff on there, as well as a sailor/anchor for his grandfather who was a merchant marine. it's all traditional tattoo style (like mine), so it's lots of dark outline and bold shading.

I was wondering what was going on with the Nest. It's weird because my Home Board, has a new format....I don't like it. You can share on FB and Twitter. UGH
Anyhow, work closed at 2:30 yesterday. (I normally leave at 3:30, so big whoop). We ended up with about 13 inches of snow. They are calling for a couple of more inches tonight.
I have some friends who want me to bring the boys to dinner tonight. I think I am going to pass. They are meeting at 6:30 and I don't know how the boys would be in a restaurant at that time, and since DH wouldn't be with me, I think it's best for me to pass.
We have no plans so it will probably be filled with cleaning, and maybe going to a Pampered Chef party on Sunday.
Good choice. I tried bringing D to dinner with some girlfriends a few weeks ago and it just wasn't worth it - I had to spend the whole time tending to him and couldn't pay attention to my friends at all.

Tonight we might go look at appliances??? The Brick has a customer appreciation thing on, today only, so it might be worth it.
Tomorrow Derek is going into Toronto for a bachelor party, so I have a feeling I'll be laying on the couch all night watching Bones. The only way to make that better is if there was wine involved. At least there will be chocolate, and kitties, and knitting.
We ordered out countertop today. We ended up having to go with a completely different one than the one I posted the other day. That one ended up being out of our budget, even with the "cash" discount. Oh well! This new one will still look good.

Ya the percoccets (I dunno how to spell that) aren't doing anything for me except making my face itchy and I feel like I'm not my self. I have no feeling on the entire right side of my stomach. I'm pretty sure it's nerve damage from all the surgeries I've had. It could be itchy, but I'll never know. This is strange to me cause I can feel a burning/stinging/tearing pain under my skin, it almost feels bruised too.
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
Today I am tackling clearing out our third bedroom which has been used for storage and junk that we weren't ready to sort through for far too long. I've been putting it off since we moved in but they say an object in motion tends to stay in motion so I'm just going to get off my butt and start working! This weekend I've not got much going on besides working. My manager just got let go for some apparent shady business he was doing on the clock (scandalous!) so I'll be working under a new boss and finding out what he's like. Maybe things will get better around there and I'll enjoy work a little more. One can only hope!
Sunday I'm excited to help my friend with her nursery. Since DH and I are having to consider the fact we might be putting our baby making plans on hold it'll be nice to live vicariously through her for the day.

In baby related news, my aunt and uncle sent me a pregnant bear from VT Teddy Bear Co. (like Build-a-bear). It is my first baby related item besides maternity clothes...

Good evening!
Today wasn't too bad. I was pretty exhausted at work and then I got unbelievably grumpy for some unknown reason. I managed to get out on time so that's great and then I got my hair cut.
I'm officially on vacation now for a week!
Tomorrow we are moving the guest bed out of baby's room and putting all baby's things in there. Now the cats will be locked out. Hopefully that goes well.
Sunday is my baby shower! Yay, I'm exicted.
