2 questions re: Athleta and Mio

First, does Athleta have sales often or coupon codes, etc.?  I really want to buy a skirt/capri combo thing but don't want to spend the $74.  I didn't know if they had frequent sales like Old Navy and Gap since the are "related" companies.

Second, does anyone know anything about Mio water enhancer?  I usually use Nuun when I run.  I saw this and didn't know if it was similar.  It's cheaper and easier to get, so I didn't know if it was decent or not.

Thanks!!

They rarely have coupons and when they do, they are for sale items only (i think twice a year they will have a 20% off everything coupon).

Nuun is for working out/athletics. Mio is just a flavor enhancer and I do not believe it has any benefits for you like Nuun does.

  • Athleta rarely, if ever, has sales. But the quality is excellent and unlike Gap/BR, I'm willing to pay their regular prices.

Mio is like Crystal Light and it tastes disgusting.

I bought Mio to flavor water when I was doing chemo because water tasted so bad.  Not sure if it was chemo or the Mio, but I can't even look at the commercials now without wanting to hurl.  It was nasty.

  • I get discount emails from Gap/BR/ON often. Athleta is not always included, but sometimes.

Mio is straight-up chemicals. Absolutely nothing of redeeming value in it based on the ingredients. If you want an electrolyte replacement for running, stick with Nuun or any of the many other such things designed for that purpose.

  • Thank you all!  Good info!!

  • Once things get marked down on Athleta, they will run additional percentage off every once in a while.  Other than that, I haven't seen anything on sale.  I find out about the additional percentage off by being on their email list.

No help with the Mio, but I have tried Nuun and really liked it.
