Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Some of us revived the old August FB group this morning when TN was down. The thing is, FB "migrated" some old groups and now all the members are gone, so you'll need to rejoin.

(TBH it's kind of good because there were a LOT of members who are no longer around, so a fresh start isn't a bad thing...)

Search "August 2009 Naughties" and you'll find the group. It's closed for now which means the group shows up, but you need to be a member to see the posts. Maybe we should make it secret later?

    I want to know as a member as this group on facebook does it show up on your feed? I want to stay incognito if I post during work time.

    I'm not sure about that for closed groups, I don't THINK it would show up since posts aren't supposed to be public. I know for secret groups it definitely wouldn't show up. It might show up on YOUR feed (so don't freak out) but I don't think it would be on your friends' feed if they're not a member. Make sense?

    FB is most certainly blocked here at work, and sadly I don't think I'll be able to keep up on my phone, too much actual work.  But, I am getting e-mail whenever anyone starts a thread, so I feel a bit connected. :)

    I don't get it at work either, but will post on it for sure in the evenings, and if I can jump on my phone for a minute at work.

    FYI - I am also in a FB group for my birth month board which is secret.  When it is secret, no friends (unless you are friends with the person) can see what you are posting.  I would definitely change it from closed to secret. 

    I will say it will make things so much easier for picture sharing too!  =)
