Help Me: What do I want for my Birthday?
I'm sure MIL will be asking here shortly and I have no ideas. E needs some ideas of what to get me too. So what do I want for my birthday?

I really liked them. They're popcorn, but fun. Unless you're responding to Mary in which case I'd say it depends on your taste in booze.
No I was responding to you. Mary's doesn't really work expect for the gift cards because I don't drink, haha.
I like popcorn books sometimes maybe I'll ask MIL for them and then she can read them too. We tend to like the same books so that might be a good idea. Thanks Stan.
Do you have a Kindle or Nook? I usually just say Amazon gift cards now when people ask since I can get my books.
Like Mary, my family also knows that my go to gift for giving and receiving is booze.
I have a Sony Reader I could ask for a gift card for that since I have a huge list of book I want to buy! Great idea thanks!
Another vote for the Sookie books. I'm True Blood obsessed though and didn't read them until I'd seen the first two seasons of TB. Basically borderline smut novels, but everyone needs a good mindless read now and then...or 10 (I think there's 10 or 11 of them now).
When's your birthday?
I'm a St. Patty's Day baby.
I diffidently need to look into those books now and see how many would be feasible to ask MIL for.
I got this set.

Your birthday is St. Patrick's Day and you don't want booze?!?
LOL. I would ask for expensive makeup or lotion. Stuff you want but don't want to pay for. Or a massage.
I know right? I've never drank in my life and don't intend too. I think it would be highly comical to see what I would be like drunk though. I would probably constantly be asking everyone if they were okay and telling them I love them.
Makeup might be a good idea.
Stan! That price is not bad at all! I'll have to point it out to E and see what he thinks about asking MIL for them. Thanks!
You've never had anything to drink? No judgment, but I'm quite curious. Why not?
I should have phrased that better. I've had a few sips ( read like 4 sips) but other than that no. I don't like how it tastes and have no interest in it all. I didn't grow up around drinking and my Dad was very big on "we don't drink you shouldn't drink either" when I was younger and I have just never done it.
E doesn't drink either so its not that weird to either of us. And our close friend's here don't drink either(their reasons are religious, ours are not).
