I'm traveling to Israel for a friend's wedding this Spring. With the escalating tensions with Iran and the incredibly quick nature of their dating/engagement I definitely want my trip to be refundable or covered in some way. The difference in airfare for a refundable flight is nearly double and I'm hoping I could get some decent insurance that would at least cover the cost of airfare if anything happens and the trip is cancelled for less than the cost of refundable airfare. Any recommendations for companies or sites that offer decent but affordable coverage?

Re: Trip Insurance?
Our wedding on Wilson Island!
As pp Insuremytrip.com or squaremouth.com. Look through the policies for war and terrorism coverage, not all of them cover it if you are worried about something happening while you are on your trip. The cancel for any reason for things prior to your trip.
We used TravelEx when we went to Ecuador, the coup attempt rescheduling was covered because it was called a police strike and our policy covered strikes that disturbed common carriers aka airlines. The police had taken over the airport.
Cancer sucks.
Great, thanks ladies. I'm definitely needing to comb over the fine print. It seems like I'll have to get "cancel for any reason" coverage just in case.
That is a crazy story. I'm a military contractor so I'm not sure if that will impact the trip but I've heard of incidents where officials refuse entry to Americans and I want to cover all my bases. It just seems like this is going to be an "all bets are off" kind of trip.
