Please recommend your favorite activities in Aruba?

DH & I are heading to Aruba for our 4th time at the end of April.  Normally, I am just happy to relax on the beach for the week but DH wants to do some activities this time.  I'm thinking horseback riding since we are not "adventure" people but what else do you recommned?

Thanks!

  • I like to just rent a Jeep and drive around, drive to the natural pool across the Arikok (not sure the spelling)Park and drive around the rocky coast. I have not been to de Palm Island. Go out one a snorkeling trip?

We are going back in a few weeks and just booked a jeep tour through ABC. They get great reviews on tripadvisor

This. Count on getting a bit lost along the way. Roads are not clearly marked and things off the beaten path tend to be not more than a trail. The views and area are so beautiful, though, you won't mind one bit.

  • The windsurfing in Aruba is great.  They have constant, gentle wind.  You can learn in waist deep water with someone standing right next to you.

  • ABC jeep tour....we only did the 1/2 day, which was plenty.  We also really really enjoyed the Jolly Pirates snorkeling trip.  It was an all day trip: open bar, bbq lunch, snorkeling at a few spots, and for the more adventurous rope swinging into the water.  The guys were hilarious and it was so much fun!
