Baby C did awesomely w/ all the travel and didn't seem to have any jet lag. In fact, she's been sleeping better the 2 weeks we've been over here than when we were in the US.
It's been super hot where we are (N Coast NSW), not much rain either though much of the country is getting hammered w/ rain and flooding.
My parents started out on their 2 mo drive in a campervan to diff areas. They're really enjoying it so far.
C loves her aussie grandparents and they're totally enamored with her. We did a bit of camping so far, and will do a bit more in the next few weeks - though I get to go fishing adn crabbing a lot less w/ a baby here than in the past. We've got about 7 more weeks and the main plan is just relaxing!
Bummed we're missing Monique. She's w/in an hour of us this weekend, but we have to stay in town this weekend for some stuff.
Re: hi from oz!
ps. no one measured or weighed carry-ons for the international leg.
Also - V Australia was a wonderful flight. Terrific staff and service. I highly recommend. I hope to never fly United again. I really hate United, yet always ended up on them as they had the cheapest fare.
ahhhhh I wish we could have seen you too!!!!!
If we had driven up from Sydney I TOTALLY would have swung by to see you to meet you LO!!!
Glad to hear the flight went so well and that your LO is sleeping well after the trip!
I HATE HATE HATE United & Delta - we are really really going to try to go either Qantas or Virgin from now on, they are just SO much nicer
have a great rest of your trip! where are your parents going in a camper? my parents SO want to do that with us some time - that'd be fun. We saw a LOT of those in Byron lol!
