Re: Meal Plans/ WFD tonight?
This week is a big crap shoot since T is on orders all week and doesn't know if he's coming home for dinner or at all.
Tonight I made crock pot ranch chicken...it was super bland.
E and I are finding that a lot with some of the freezer crock pot meals I've been making. That or they come out super thin if they have a sauce.
H is gone. Not that I ever plan.
Tonight I'm going to a street festival, so I'll probably eat there.
This week I might try another attempt at making garlic shrimp north shore style. I kind of love that when H is gone my leftovers last a lot longer
I baked some chicken and put it on a big salad. Now I'll eat the leftover chicken for the next 2 days probably at dinner. I do this at least once a week while H is gone because it's easy and healthy.
Is your creamy one pot pasta a pampered chef recipe? If so I LOVE that recipe.
Yes! And the funny thing is I found the recipe on a website and they didn't say it was from Pampered Chef and then I found it in one of the cook books my mom gave me. We love it and I love that you can basically add whatever veggies suite your tastes.
Yes I definitely agree. I love a lot of their recipes. My aunt has been a consultant for years so most of my kitchen is pampered chef. Their $1 cookbooks are awesome.
Mine is too! My mom was a consultant. She went nuts when it came to wedding and shower gifts and she used to always just buy random things to boost shows and would give me things.
Tonight was BBQ ribs, coleslaw, and twice baked potatoes.
Monday: Grilled chicken Alfredo, spinach salad and maybe focaccia bread
Tuesday: Teriyaki steak with brown rice and broccoli
Wednesday: Chipotle shrimp and quinoa
Thursday: Probably leftovers
Fri-Sat: We usually go out on the weekends so little or no cooking for me! If we don't go out, we'll probably have ravioli with some meat sauce that is in the freezer
Tonight we had roasted pork loin and moroccan cauliflower.
Tomorrow will be lasagna and roasted asparagus.
I do my shopping on Tuesday so I haven't planned for the rest of the week yet, but I know it will include chicken pot pie because I've been craving it.
I made sweet potato stew in the crock pot for tonight- (Monday here) super easy- sweet potatoes, diced tomatoes, carrots, mushrooms, onions, vegetable broth, black pepper, garlic, whatever other spices you feel like adding and white kidney beans-- I'm freezing half for 'after baby' meals in individual containers
Tuesday is vegetable stirfry with brown rice
Hopefully Wednesday is induction day so I haven't made plans yet for the rest of the week.
I had a philly chicken sub from Mr. Jims. It was so good.
I have no clue what I'm doing for dinner this week lol.
67/200
I think I need to start having dinner with y'all.
Everything sounds yummy!
DH has been doing the cooking, but he is going to new hours this week and will be home later so I guess I'd better start taking notes so my kids don't starve.
Yum, some of these sound amazing!
Tonight- H is gone so I'm doing a baked sweet potato with black bean salsa.
Tue- left over spinach and sausage risotto
Wed- Brats and red cabbage
Thur- might be fend for yourself
Fri- found a new wasabi salmon bok choy recipe i can't wait to try!
Last night we had Croque Madames- I think I skimped on ingredients too much because they were okay, but not as decadent as I was thinking
Monday: Taco Pizza
Tuesday: Chicken with Balsamic Bacon Mushroom Cream Sauce
Wednesday: Crockpot Sausage and Peppers
Thursday: Asian Pork Tenderloin
M: Chipotle Spiced Broiled Chicken w/ roasted veggies and spinach salad
Tu: Beef and Guiness Stew, likely with another spinach salad
W: Pork Loin Roast with steamed broccoli
Th: Roasted whole chicken, not sure what sides
F: Curried Pork with Apples
Sa, Su: not sure - we might be eating out
