Redid CrossFit Open WOD 12.2
Got 73 snatches this afternoon!! That means 13 of them were at 100#. It was total magic (when I'd done it before I'd only gotten 61).
And insanely, once again, my score counts toward the team score and we're still well within the top 30 teams in the region and insanely, I'm within the top 60 individuals in the region (although there are still about 40 minutes to post scores).
Nuts.

YEA!!!
I did a scaled version on Friday. I hate snatches, but it gave me some confidence that my form is not as bad as I thought.
Glad you decided to do it again!
Congrats! That's fantastic. I did 57 and KNOW I could have done 60 but I stopped to tie my shoes LOL. Lame excuse huh? Oh well. I actually learned a lot about my snatch movement with this one. I feel much more confident and watched myself video taped so now I know what I need to work on. I think I might actually be able to hit 100# in the next few weeks. 75# was my 1RM as of this week ... obviously, doing 27 of your 1RM makes it not your 1RM anymore. Haha.
Seriously girl, I hope you make it to regionals! That would be beyond amazing! Best of luck. I hope the next few WODs are your thing! One of the masters in our gym is sitting pretty in 5th or 7th in the world right now I think Amazing. I'm pretty sure her age group goes directly to California without regionals! We are all trying to plan it out to follow her there for sure.
This whole thing is surreal.
I've only been CrossFitting for a few months, so I think that the fact that I have *no clue* what I'm in for is actually an advantage LOL.
I am the only person in my gym whose score has counted for the team score in the first 2 workouts, so if nothing else, I'm so happy to have contributed.
I really hope our team makes it to regionals, because I think they might pick me for the team
