We paid off my student loans last week! WAHOO!
Because H was spoiled rotten, he didn't have any student loans. But I sure as hell did. And we paid them off!
We also paid off everything we had currently on credit cards AND the Yaris is over half paid off (we paid off H's Honda last August).
I feel like a grown up!

Re: AW: student loans
Way to go!!!!
Doesn't it feel good? How are you going to celebrate? We paid our last student loan bill about a month ago and we spent the night in a wine bar to celebrate no debt. No debt! Yay! I am going to say it again because I like the way it sounds. No debt. No debt.
No debt.
Okay. one more time. No debt!

That is awesome awesome awesome! I can't imagine having no more student loans, and we don't even have THAT much.
CONGRATS!
YAY YOU!
I finally got the the house paperwork from my old mortgage lender. It was supremely satisfying to see PAID IN FULL stamped all over it in red. I want to frame it as a reminder that I'm a free agent.
Awesomeness.
Woo hoo! Congrats to you and Mr. Imoan, that is awesome!!
congrats! i can't wait to pay mine off.
i mentioned something about my student loan to a friend and she was like, "you still have student loans?!" i rolled my eyes so hard. yes, i still have student loans. not everybody's parents pays for their college.
This is a better celebration than a night at the wine bar.
Although the wine bar was pretty good, too. I think that's the night I walked off without my purse. Oops.
Congratulations!!
I'm applying for a $15,000 loan repayment program. Not sure if I'll qualify, seeing as I'm whitey mcwhitewhite and they want multiculturally competent people (and people who want to work with underserved populations). I hope I get some money from it, even if I'd have to stay at my job 2 more years. My grad school debt is scary. :
RIGHT?! Although, who knows... maybe we'll get sh|thoused while we do the kitchen work and it'll be like the wine bar is there WITH us ;o)

You are good. I was this close to asking if I could help.
But then I really thought about it and decided I'd rather visit your wine bar kitchen after it's finished. Phew!
Congrats imoan! What a huge weight off!
