They all picked the opposite of my choices except one!
I thought the little country girl was not good at all.
ITA with all this. I was sad she didn't pick the preacher's son. I liked his voice better.
Chris vs. Tony: Tony won, and I was rooting for him, but I think Chris really has the better voice. I like Tony's story better.
RaeLynn vs. Adley: I can't believe RaeLynn won this one...she is NOT good. Also, they murdered one of my favorite songs. Ugh.
Chris (opera guy) vs. Monique: I saw his audition and not hers, so I wanted him to win, but she really killed it. I thought she deserved to go on.
Cheesa (pronounced "Chessa") vs. Angie: I was ready to quit this show when they sent Angie home. She was in my top 3, and Cheesa has a crap personality. Cheesa also WAY oversang that song. Bleh.
Jordis vs. Brian: Jordis can do no wrong. I love that woman. Her voice is unbelievable. She really killed it...in a good way. Poor Brian never stood a chance.
Jesse vs. Anthony: I like the timbre of Anthony's voice a lot better, and I think Jesse is kind of an asshoIe...way too cocky and obnoxious. I really wish Anthony had stayed; I like that guy.

I thought it was a good battle round night. I don't think there was a clear winner in any of the battles, so I'm not outraged by any of the choices.
I honestly cannot believe that RaeLynn won that battle. Yes, her voice is unique, but unique does not equal good. She is really pitchy and I feel like she does a lot of the vibrato stuff (ETA: too much of it, in my opinion) to hide the fact that she just isn't very good.
But I was happy with the other choices.

I liked him in the MMC). Love Jordis...not so much her performance I feel she didn't try her best just tried to make it comfortable for her.
Can't wait to see Whitney, the last girl the Xtina picked (don't remember her name) and Gwen they are my favorites this season.
I wondered later if that played a part in her staying!

I am totally on team Jordis. I used to work with her years ago and have been following her ever since. She has an amazing voice, too bad the song that was chosen didn't really showcase it.
Same here. When RaeLynn won I told H I was done watching the show. I wanted to turn it off but of course I couldn't, lol. Everyone I wanted to win lost except one. I can't remember who now.
