Vibes didn't work :(
Rusty's dog, Notch, got attacked last Thursday. The dog ripped a good chunk of skin off of his back so he had to have surgery Thursday night. The stiches were from his shoulder blades down to his chest on each side of his body. Other than that he was doing ok. Friday he didn't really eat, drink, or potty all day. Rusty's parents took him to the vet while we were at a visitation. When we got home we got a call saying we needed to go to the vet ASAP. We have an amazing friend who came over and hung out while Parker slept. We made the 45 minute drive in about 25 minutes.
The vet showed us an x-ray of his back leg. It had been completly ripped from his hip. This didn't get noticed before because he was walking fine. We had to make the decision on what to do. They could do surgery, but another surgery would of needed to be done in 3 months also. We made the tough decsision to put him down. He was 11 years old and has been insulin dependent for 6 years.
The neighbors whose dog jumped the fence and caused this havent' even called to apologize or anything. I am so angry at them. They will definitely be getting the bill.

So sorry!! Gosh, what is it with the furbabies this week... I would be so irate at the neighbor and yes, send them the bill for sure!!
