I am spending a couple weeks in Germany this fall with a friend & DD. We originally planned on just doing the Rhine/Mosel region & Rothenburg but last night she mentioned maybe taking the train to Munich since it will be Oktoberfest. (Ive been to Munich before with DD but not Oktoberfest).
For those that have gone how insane would it be to go for a day (during the week) with a 2 1/2 year old?! I won't be drinking since I will be about 6 months pregnant but this is my friends first trip to Europe and I know she would love to experience it.
Would you go? DD did great in the beer halls in Munich (she thought the music & people were funny) but I know this is a LOT crazier. I've already told my friend I would have to leave before night which she is cool with.
Re: Oktoberfest (Munich) with kids
Good to know! Looks like we are going to Oktoberfest! DH is going to be so bummed to miss it!
