Second Interview Thank You's
Today I had a second interview with a company I am interested in working for. I met with the founder and CEO first, and then with both hiring managers after we met. The CEO started to talk hours and salary and the hiring managers asked how soon I would be willing to start. They will be making a formal offer by the end of the week. The hiring managers have asked for a list of references by the end of business today. Because the deadline is short, I know it's appropriate to send a thank you with the email. Is it also necessary to send a written thank you as well, of is that overkill? I still plan on sending written thank yous to the founder and CEO.

I just had a 2nd interview yesterday and I sent a Thank you email to the manager I met with again this morning.
In my opinion an email is fine and from what I read online, it seems appropriate.
I also found some great sample thank you emails specifically for 2nd interviews. If you want I could PM you what I sent to the manager. Just let me know if you're interested.
