Peekaboo!

I've been MIA for a few weeks. Work is crazy busy, but I was missing the board, so I'm popping by. All the furkids are doing great lately, so I'm just bopping along with work's busy-ness and chilling out at home. Still getting over being sick; it's the cough that won't quit! (Although it has improved massively since it started up, like, 2 months ago!)

What's new and exciting around our little neck of the Interwebs? How's everyone been?

Re: Peekaboo!

  • Vitamin C!  :)  It's my cure all.  Broke a bone?  Drink more vitamin C!

Sans a pair of shoes that doubled as a chew toy yesterday, we're great. G found them in the bedroom in a shoe bag, she brought the shoe bag into the living room - on the couch - gently opened the shoe bag, pulled out one shoe, just one, and went to town. This is what I get for not running her because it's been cold.

  • Hi!  We're doing ok - Bella has done something to one of her back legs/paw that we can't really figure out, but otherwise fine.  Miss you around here!

LOL!! I'm sorry; I know it's not funny, and I'd be fuming if I ever lost a shoe to the chew-monster. But the image of G taking SUCH care and precision in her selection and chewing endeavor are just cracking me up!

I've been keeping an eye on your posts on FB. I really hope Bella's paw heals up on its own soon! I can't imagine what the poor girl did to herself.

  • Hi! I've been traveling like crazy for work lately so also in and out but not much else new here! Still dealing with pee issues!

Oh, and kittens have now decided that getting on the counter is FUN! :-P

  • Glad to see you've stopped by! We missed you!

Everyone here is doing great - Rosco Cat has figured out how to open the doors (only one way, he can't "pull" the handle/door towards him...yet) So now I have to wear padded sock to bed or he eats my toes at night. He's also loving his Taste of the Wild!

Jasper and Dakota a great - Dakota has been playing too rough with J and Jasper has learned how to jump the pallets we have blocking off a very muddy/small area of our yard. He can jump in, but not out.

Finally - H and I have been on the hunt for "Birthday Cake Oreos" which supposedly have funfetti oreo filling. I must find these cookies.

Thanks!  Guess I've been a PW about it - but you know how it is when one of our babies is hurt!  lol :)

I heard about these on the radio this morning in honor of Oreo's Birthday! H lurves him some Oreos, so I might need to try and find a pack for him.

I can't find them anywhere - not even at Wal-Mart. Someone suggested Target, so I'm trying that today. If you find them, you MUST tell me where!

I know, I just looked at the completely unchewed shoe bag, and the completely unchewed right shoe and shook my head at the left one that was devored, lol.

TG for the DSW down the street.  :)

Also, I hadn't heard of the funfetti oreos until now, but I'm thinking I must also find them now, they sound delish!

  • Those Oreos sound awesome!! I only recently discovered that peanut butter Oreos exist so I will need to try those too.

We are good :) Sherlock is healthy and off his Rx food, and on a canned fold only diet now. He's sleeping better, seems to be more full on the chicken soup canned food vs the Rx and he's letting us sleep to the alarm! he's also been especially lovable and cuddly :)

They have a mint and berry filled ones, too. I don't like the berry - but if the mint taste anything like mint chocolate chip ice cream or thin mints I'm going to devour a bag....

I was really confused for a second, until I saw that you'd changed your screen name. Haha! Glad to hear Sherlock is doing well! Yay for good wet food and a fully belly!

The DJs on the radio this morning said the mint were really good! The one had said any sort of mint chocolate cookie was typically just a pretender to the throne of the Thin Mints, but he said the Oreo Mint cookies ranked up there! Sounds like another one I'll have to pick up...oh my waistline is not gonna be happy with me...

  • Haha yeah sorry about that. I had my old username banned on TK to block my posts since I'm job searching. I figured this new username was safer since it's not as easily searchable :)
