**spoilers The Bachelor pics
Looks like RS nailed it this time. Has anyone seen the pics on his March 1 post? Pretty clear what happens. Gross....
I missed WTA last night--was Courtney actually there, or was that just a rumor?
Re: **spoilers The Bachelor pics
I'm not going to lie, I kind of felt bad for Courtney. Some of those girls are complete and total biitches. Not that Courtney is little miss innocent by any means, but the way they treated Chantal speaks volumes about their character. I've said all along Courtney used biitchiness as a defense mechanism and I still stand by that after watching last night.
And seriously, I am SOOOO sick of Chris saying "most dramatic blah blah blah EVER" every.single.season. Annoying!
I didn't feel bad for her. Like the other women said, they were also in a new and confusing situation, but they bonded with each other to get through it. Courtney handled herself completely wrong, and I don't think it was the other women's fault she was like that. Also, she knew the other women hated her because she was a b!tch, but she kept telling Ben they just didn't like her {insert sad crooked face here}. She used it to her advantage.
They were pretty b!tchy to Chantal, but they explained it really well last night and even apologized for it. Chantal just walked right past everyone to get to Ben during a cocktail party when the contestants were supposed to have a chance to talk to him before a rose ceremony. I can understand why they were all caught off guard.
But I'm 100% sure that the producers told Chantal to walk in that way. And seriously, that is not even close to a good enough reason to say nasty things about someone's physical appearance and all of that. I do think it reveals the other girls' true characters. You can tell a lot about someone based on how they act under pressure.
Exactly. And really, not one of those women goes on that show to make friends. Chantal wasn't there to be besties with all this girls. She was there to see if Ben had feelings for her.
I do agree with both of you. I just thought it showed a touch of maturity that they apologized and were then nice to her.
Yes, this was awesome.
I thought there was no need to have Shawntel there at all. Her little drama was such a small thing and nothing even happened, as she wasn't allowed to stay.
I'm just unhappy that none of the girls brought up the skinny dipping with Ben. It seems that they don't hold him accountable at all - just Courtney. Which shows a huge flaw with many women...the guy can do nothing wrong...even when he's actually a jerk...
I love that Brittany said she just wasn't attracted to him. He is so icky, especially his hair.
Also, Jamie must have wanted to cement her reputation as the most desperate woman ever on Bachelor...I can't believe she told him to look her up if it doesn't work out. Have some dignity, woman.
I felt bad for Courtney, too. I think she has some major issues; she is incredibly defensive and her defense mechanism is to lash out, which is not cool. She said some horrible things and had a wicked attitude at times. But I gave her the benefit of the doubt this season; she works in an industry that breeds competition and defensiveness among women. I think she was really trying to express during the interview that she was very, very uncomfortable in a house full of women and didn't know how to conduct herself, and it got her in a lot of trouble. That's what was different about her and the other women...they were NOT all as uncomfortable as Courtney was. I think Courtney has actual social issues that require professional help, and she literally couldn't interact with the women as easily as most.
And there were plenty of other people on this season who said horrible things about other women on the show. Samantha saying, "What do you get when you cross a gingerman and a hooker? Blakely!" And whoever it was that said about Shawntel, "We don't want Brad's throwaway trash," and "She's uglier in person." Horrible. Granted, Courtney said more bad things about more people, but she wasn't alone in the bitchfest this season. I mean, lots of women on the show (and viewers) are so effing hypocrytical, laughing at some of these horrible comments but condemning Courtney to hell and saying she doesn't have a heart because hers were more frequent and/or more publicized.
I do think that she is way more sorry for her actions because of how it affected HER rather than how it effected the people who she badmouthed, but I also think her apology was sincere.
It was really disheartening to watch a bunch of grown women gang up like that. All yelling at once at Courtney and doing the spider-smash thing. It was pathetic. I have little respect for any of those women...but what do I expect? It's the Bachelor.
I completely agree. It's total BS that no one asked him about the skinny dipping. That was pretty much the only reason to even bother watching the WTA.
Do you think it's possible that someone did ask and they edited it out? Our that the producers told them not to harp on it? I just find it so hard to believe that these women are this DUMB and still worshiping the ground Ben walks on. He is the biggest frat boy d-bag ever.
I guess Emily did mention it, but not to his face, and that was what I wanted. When he came out, they were all just like oh Ben, we still think you are the most awesome guy ever!
I also wondered if they were told not to say anything to him about it. Oh well. It was the whole reason I watched the WTA.
