What to wear to 2nd interview

I interviewed last week for a primary school music job with the principal and assistant principal of the school. I wore some nice gray/black paints, a black blouse and a suit jacket to the first interview.

I got a call for a second interview, this time in front of a "committee" (presumably of district level administrators and perhaps classroom teachers in the building).

What should I wear to this interview? I have only one suit jacket -should I wear it again or can I lose it? More casual? Less casual?  I have no idea. Help!

Re: What to wear to 2nd interview

  • I'd dress like you would for the first interview.

  • Wear the suit. You are going to meet new poeple that you didn't meet in the first round, so you need to make a good first impression. You don't have to worry about that you are wearing the same thing. When I interview poeple, I would like to see how they represent themselves not how many suits they own. I, myself, wore the same suit, to both interviews.
  • Suit for sure. Change your top and jewelry.

  • Suit. I wore the same suit for my first and second interviews. I changed my shirt and accessories. I got the job so I can't say it negatively affected me. However, I did tell myself I would get another suit if I didn't get that job. I also probably would have went shopping for another one but I had less than 24 hours of notice.
  • Definitely wear the suit.  Maybe change the color shirt and accessories.
