My next, next door neighbor's daughter (is that a thing?) is a GS, and though we order 2 boxes of cookies in mid-January, or so it feels, we've yet to have them delivered. They're two doors down, for goodness sake! Drop off my damn cookies.
So while I don't have a box of cookies to look at for calculating WW points, I did happen to have two thin mints, courtesy of one of my favorite students. Her mom packed her lunch, and she didn't want them. Ummm...hello? I'll take those off your hands.
So...how many WW points + for 2 thin mints? AND, how do I get my official girl scout delivery from the blasted neighbors? I'm afraid I'll miss cookie season by waiting too long, but I don't want to "cheat" on my girl scout by ordering elsewhere.
Re: Girl Scout vent & WW P+ question
I believe 2 thin mints is about 70 calories... I have no idea how many weight watchers points that is though!
Also... I'd just buy a box or 2 from the girls selling at the grocery store, and when and if you get them from the girl next door, just put those in the freezer for a treat mid-summer
Bazinga!

I like the way you think. I'm gonna guess that 70 cals equates to 2 WW P+. I can't wait to see if I'm right.
5pts for serving size of 4 cookies
2pts for 2 cookies
It seems the Girl Scouts of San Jacinto County have all received their cookies on the same day, and though there are different troops, they are all organized by this overarching body, in my area. I don't typically indulge in cookies at all. If I'm going to have a sweet treat, I like a cupcake from Sprinkles (salted caramel, preferably) or an illicit regular Coke. I do, however, buy one box of each of the following every year: thin mints, samoas (both for me), pb sandwiches, and chocolate covered pbs (both for DH). It's my annual scouting contribution with more than a little bit of nostalgia for the flavors. But maybe I should try the Savannah Smiles as a replacement for the Samoas in my purchasing. They're pretty high in calories/WW points.

My parents received theirs from their neighbor, but I'm SURE every council has different delivery dates. AND they received a really cute hand-made "Thank You" card from the girl (they bought one box of every kind).
