frosting recipe
Does anyone have a frosting recipe that they absolutely love?
I am making minnie mouse cupcakes for Teaghans party and I need a good recipe from frosting that I can pipe onto the cupcakes.

My go-to frosting is always cream cheese (not too sweet, imho):
8 oz cream cheese
1 stick unsalted butter
4 cups powdered sugar
2 tbsp vanilla
Beat cream cheese and butter on medioum high speed for 3 minutes. Gradually add powdered sugar on low until incorporated. Add vanilla and beat to combine. I usually beat on med high speed for another minute to make it good and fluffy.
And this is easy to pipe?
What size tip would you recommend?
yep, I use it for decorating everything. The 1M is my favorite for cupcakes.
ETA: what is the design for the cupcakes? 1M is very swirly, not sure if it would work or not, depending on the design.
im not doing anything special because i got cupcake toppers with Teaghans name so I just have minnie cupcake wrapper, but I wanted the frosting to look nice.

gotcha. Then yes, I'd use the 1M. I use it for almost everything, and it will look cute with the topper. And yes, I've dyed it every color of the rainbow! Use gel food coloring (can get it at like Michaels), not liquid.
