Re: AW yourself here.
that's awesome!
my aw: i think my hair looks really cute today.
Holy crap, interro.
I've gotten lots of compliments on my scarf today. It's a bright blue with dark blue and red and creme flowers and branches, and is from Turkey.
I just had a one person show in December -- my first one -- and a local paper ran a very nice interview about me.:)
You GO GIRL! Love it!!!!!!!!! I wish I had been there!
Congrats!!
l+l that scarf sounds beautiful!
congrats Tarpon!
Interro- I'm SERIOUSLY impressed. I don't think my body is capable of that.
For my own AW- H informed me that he was bragging to me at work today about having finished War & Peace in 12 days. I guess there was a good amount of shocked reactions. It just makes me feel all warm & fuzzy that H likes to brag about me.

parsva bakasana - side crow
I'm answering for her because it's an AW thread and I'm AW'ing my yoga knowledge. :P
It's referred to as both...in the States we call it crow, but the Sanskrit translation is crane, so that's why you've heard both Interro!
I always refer to it as crow, but crane sounds so much more graceful, doesn't it? I may have to change the way I call it in class - I'm sure people would rather be graceful flowy cranes than sqwaking creepy crows.
