Thank you.

Has anyone stayed here before? Is it a nice place? Also how family friendly is it? We are hoping to bring our DS that will be 16 months at the time.
Thanks.
Re: RUI in Ocho Rios Jamaica
Smoking is allowed! Our room smelled horrible! The food was awful.....could not sit on the beach without locals bugging you to buy weed! Pool bar blasted 50 cent and rap all day long...lasted one night and paid for a private car to pick my husband and. Up and take us to the ritz Carlton. Would never return let alone bring my LO there!
I absolutely hated it. It was, by far, the absolute worst travel experience I have ever had.
You can only eat at the "specialty" restaurants once during your stay, so you are regulated to the buffet other nights. The food is a horribly poor quality. Drinks do not exist you have a choice of red or white wine, and blue or red slushy with rum.
Smoking is allowed everywhere on the property.
They have a huge bug problem. Every morning we woke up with mosquitoes squished in our bed after they had been biting all night. When we called about the bug issues they sent up someone from housekeeping with a can of raid. The day we left we were emptying the closet and found a cockaroach on the floor.
Please stay anywhere else.
Thanks everyone for the replies. This definitely has me very worried. I think we may have to look for some place else.
