Well I mean, I know it's from tanning, but I've always tanned evenly up until now. It's been like a month with no burns, consistently going every other day for the same amount of time so I'm wondering what was different that caused it.

You probably went to fast. Like, if I tan I start at at 5 minutes and slowly work from there. Don't rush it. Then I go to 8, then 10; and so on.
But I don't tan anymore. I'm too old and worry about wrinkles.
