How many calories do you eat?
I am curious. I have been tracking my calories and have been eating around 1200- 1500.
Re: How many calories do you eat?
Training days are usually between 1800-2200 cals/day. Non-training days are 1300-1500.
These are rough estimates, since I stopped counting calories a while back (it wasn't good for me, was turning into an obsession), so now I eat when I'm hungry, and have found that the more active I am, the less likely I am to crave junk/fast food.

~2400 on training days and ~2000 on non-training days.
I am breastfeeding though and ALWAYS hungry. I plan to drop those numbers by 400-500 after I stop BFing.
This. 1500 for me every day. If I have a particularly long run that day, I might eat a little over, but for the most part its 1500.

You should always eat your calories burned. You never want to go under 1200/day.

I seem to average around 2000 a day, and exercise 60-90minutes 5xweek, with a longer workout on the weekend, plus breastfeeding. I am losing about a pound a week, so when I am ready to maintain I'll add another 500 or so per day.
MyFitnesspal says I need to net 1490 to lose 1/2lb per week, not accounting for breastfeeding.

1500-1700 on days I don't work out, 2100-2500 on days I do.
There's no way I couldn't eat back the calories I burned off. My body would go into starvation mode.
When I was trying to lose weight, I ate between 1700-1800 cals a day and worked out 5-6 days a week. I was able to lose around 20lbs over the course of about 8 months by doing that.
Now that I'm maintaining, I eat around 2100-2200 cals and still work out 5-6 days a week.
1500-1600 when I don't work out, 1900-2200 when I do.
ETA: I should add I'm still trying to lose weight.

No clue. I got really obsessed over calorie counting in my 20's and it was not good for me.
I work out between 2 and 4 HARD hours a day between my group fitness classes, running with friends, and CrossFit (not to mention parenting 2 wild kids
), so I know I need to fuel that. I recently went grain free and feel like I'm making better choices because of it, but I just eat when I'm hungry.
