If it was any other poster it would worry me too...but I thiiiiink StingShark is still in the "Who needs to run more than 13.1? Not me!" boat with me. Right? Riiiiiight?
No freakin' way & even IF i was, I'd NEVER do the cent fl ironman.
DH called me yesterday and said, "did you know they are doing an ironman in haines city." and i said, yah right? Haines City. WHY? WHERE would they swim?
His response, "lake eva."
My response, "that is nasty."
I truly do not see the event being well received by a lot of people. A friend that lives there told me that it's a 5yr contract... yikes.
I lived in HC for 5 years... That lake is disgusting - i'm sure they must have cleaned it up, they'd have to - The hydrilla was bad in that lake.ugh so gross. The run is around the lake 3 times..fun?
don't worry though, Lance Armstrong will be there.. this is actually how DH found out about this, one of his aunts was going on about how Lance Armstrong was coming to H.C. .....
I guess it will be good for the economy there.

Fine then, I will just sit in the boat all.by.myself. Hmph.

Heeeey now, don't discourage her! Stingykins- You know I've done 2 now and walked away just fine. AAaaand ran a half 2 weeks after the 2nd one. In under 2 hours thankyouverymuch.
