Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

GAH!!!!! vent :(
We're finally settled in the new place. The nightmares of bedbugs finally stopped. Balance was restored to our lives.
Last week I was stripping the bed, and saw some black spots. My heart sunk, but I figured since I had no bites, J likely cut himself while shaving. Then I saw a black mark on our comforter. I chose to pretend I didn't see it. Then yesterday I wake up itching. J said it looked like a hive. Then I started scratching my arm, when I finally saw it. Bedbug bites. Somehow, we're *** reinfested. We threw out everything.. dressers, a couch, upholstered chairs, clothing, the mattress, the box spring, all of our linens. We washed all the clothing we brought.. except the coats.
The exterminator with the dog just left, and will be back in about 2 hours. They said it's not that bad, but the dog indicated the bed and the hallway closet. Do freeze our entire apartment is going to cost us $1600. I hope this rids them once and for all. I'm so traumatized I'm actually crying.

Oh no! That is horrible! Not only the PITA part, but $1600?! Ouch.
Sorry you guys are dealing w/ this! Hope the freeze/treatment works and it's truly over!
