As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. Job Interview related - Updated
Tonight I was out, and while I was gone the place I had an interview at apparently called saying that they were calling in regards to a job offer. If I'd been home before 9 I could have called back tonight yet, since I wasn't now I'm going to be sitting on pins & needles until tomorrow afternoon at 2:30ish when she said I could call back.
Honestly I wasn't getting my hopes up that high regarding the job, but knew that based on my experience etc that I could possibly have a very good chance.
My brain is telling me I'm crazy especially since it's only about 1 1/2 months until baby arrives, but financially it makes sense. Anyway... I guess now I wait. I'll update after I figure out exactly what's up.
Update:
So I got the job, which I knew I did based on what DH told me last night.
I start on Monday, shorter days at first while I'm training. Once baby get's here and I've taken my 6-8ish weeks or whatever off and come back then baby can come to work with me until about 4-6 months, as long as it isn't affecting my performance with work. Then I need to make other arrangements.
After 3 months they re-evaluate how I'm doing and if they are happy then I get a $1 raise from my starting pay.
I'm pretty excited, and nervous at the same time, because it'll be a huge change working again. It's been a while!
