Starting CrossFit on Monday!
Do all boxes do two weeks of ramp-up? If you've done it, what should I expect?
I'm so excited! And nervous--I am SO out of shape.

I had a 2 week ramp up program. We covered all the basic dynamic warm up exercises, rowing, deadlifts, squats, cleans, presses, situps, pushups, pullups, box jumps, wall balls, kettlebell work and double unders. We also did the generic baseline exercise (500 m. row, 40 squats, 30 situps, 20 pushups, 10 pullups) on day 1 and then repeated it on the last day to see improvement.
There are other moves that we do that they didn't cover in the ramp up, but they are easier to understand once you get the basics.

Our box doesn't do an intro class unless you need a lot of modifications at the beginning. Our coaches do a mini-fundamentals segment after warm-up that pertains to that days WOD. If you are unsure just ask questions!
