First Anniversary beach trip in April?
We are talking about going on a weekend getaway for our first anniversary. We got married in Miami so not sure if we want to go back there or go somewhere totally different. The only glitch is that I am pregnant so we need to stay in the U.S. Any tips of great beach we haven't heard of? We are trying to keep it as cheap as possible. Have seen some deals for Myrtle Beach...but not sure if it will be warm enough there by the middle of April.

St Augustine Beach, FL ~ Tybee Island, GA ~ Folley Beach, SC
Mid April is a great time for that area. It's normally in the mid 70's to mid 80's. Heck, it was 77 here today in Savannah.
H and I did a weekend getaway to Myrtle Beach just 2 weeks ago for our anniversary! The weather has bit hit/miss down here I think, so it was a bit chilly while we were there but we still had a ton of fun. I think by April, the weather should be nice and warm.
We stayed at the Marina Inn @ Grande Dunes, I got an awesome last minute deal with it from Groupon. We loved this place, the location was great(center of everything), the staff and service were also great. The hotel and our room were both pretty. Loved the hot tubs/pools/sauna and their restaurant have yummy food!
Check out Ft Myers/Sanibel Island, Boca Grande (a little hidden gem in FL--we love it), or Naples, FL. I'm sure all of those beaches will be plenty warm!
What about one of the Keys? It's always warm down there. Or Hilton Head, SC?
P.S. We we're married the same day
So jealous that you're taking an anniversary trip! I wanted to but my husband is taking 2 weeks off in July.
