I started eating Paleo for lent, hoping that it will go well enough that I will just adapt to eating Paleo all the time. So far so good. But my question is, what do you do when you're on the go? I've figured out plenty of options for dining out, and I pack my lunch for work, but what about those times when you have to run through a drive thru or something of the sort?
Re: Paleo on the go
My on the go snacks are nuts, unsweetened dried fruit and these:

I try really, really hard to be prepared enough so that I dont have to go through the drive through. I'll bring a nut based granola, lara bars, kind bars, fruits, yogurt, etc.
If it is desperate, I'll get a grilled chicken something, or like jimmy johns sandwich on a lettuce wrap.
Hope that helps!

I go to chipotle and get double meat salad topped with salsa. I also go to chickfila and order grilled chicken nuggets (they only show on the kids menu but happily give you any of the adult quantities as grilled) meal with fruit. Five Guys burgers for a double burger wrapped in lettuce.
Mostly I try to pack my lunch and stop at any gas station to heat because they all have microwaves for public use.
Planning is key! I fail every time I don't plan out my meals.
If I had to eat something on the go, I would chose something like beef jerky (I keep grass fed, no added sugar, soy, etc) on hand all the time, or some raw nuts, dried fruit (be careful!), all fruit smoothie, larabar (emergency). Keep some of those snacks in your car until you can get home!
