Happy Friday from Australia 
gosh I'm struggling today - this is the first Friday I have worked in almost 2 years! (did 3 days for the last 8 months). BUT the good thing is that means I'll have enough $ and holiday time saved up to go to MN to visit in just 3 months YAY
what's everyone up to this weekend???
we are cleaning & painting - fun fun. Dh is off next week for a 3 week business trip to the states, so we have to get as much house stuff done as we can before he goes

I haven't gone to bed yet!
I'm staying up late on Skype and playing with my laptop, because I'm celebrating. Today I got my cable modem, went and bought a wireless router, and set up my WiFi in the new flat! I also did the dishes for the first time. Still haven't cooked, though. It's been sandwiches and frozen pizza all week because the kitchen is a mess.
QOTD: I need to put another serious dent in unpacking. Especially to clean up the kitchen! I also need to head over to XH's and pick up another load of stuff. I still need to move food, shoes, toiletries/drugs from the bathroom, and craft supplies.
On a more fun note, I'm supposed to go out with some friends on Sat night, and another friend is hoping to have people over for Sunday brunch.

my Mothers group is going out to dinner tonight, and even though that now means a 45 min drive there & back I am SO excited to see everyone
I'm ready for Saturday. I'm really irritated with my work situation and am trying not to think about it.
This weekend, H has a football game, so I will spend half of Saturday alone and then on Sunday we have a birthday lunch to go to for H's uncle.

This morning, I'm off to Zumba and then no plans for the rest of the day. I might do some shopping. Then tomorrow I'm getting a haircut & color, and hopefully a pedicure. All in all, just enjoying a relaxing weekend!

Gilli, I don't think I realized you were moving! Must have missed that post... It sounds like you're starting to make the new place home, though, with wifi and all :-)
Nothing much going on this weekend. DH has already told me he'll need to work tomorrow, so it'll just be another regular day, I guess ::grumble, grumble::

Morning! I?m so glad it?s finally Friday. I was up late last night with a friend sewing. I now have some serious serger envy, but that will have to wait.
I think the IL?s are coming...not really excited about that , tbh. They were just here two weeks ago.
Oh my goodness. I've wanted a serger for so long. They are amazing. I suppose I should shoot for a sewing machine first. That would be a good start.
So glad it's Friday today too. I get out of work an hour earlier and then I can possibly, finally catch up on the mountain of laundry waiting at home. Also the grocery store, there is nothing in the fridge right now.
I have no idea how I'd adjust to living in the same place as my inlaws. We're planning to meet them in Ireland this summer and I've already tried to cut the trip shorter than planned... 4 days just seems like too long!
QODT: I am heading to the gym tonight, then dinner with a friend tomorrow and then we leave for Brussels/Bratislava on Sunday. I am really excited about this trip, DH and I are in great need of some relaxing couple time together. And I get to add two countries to my list!

Seriously, I am so pleased it is Friday. I had Starbucks to treat myself as a result of all my home stresses with my grandma. I am looking forward to having dinner with friends tonight.

As always, I have some studying to do today and tomorrow, but then I'm thinking of putting the Living Social deal shopping spree coupon I bought yesterday to good use
.... there is this store near Lincoln Center that I really like that is offering $100 worth of shopping for $50!! I couldn't resist so I was like ::::runs to click where it says "purchase'!::::
OK, that would be the shallow part of the weekend. Then Saturday, hubby and I should finally go play some bowling, before the tickets expire. First I'm going to have to see what his schedule is like, though.
No plans for Sunday, except that we have my Maestro's birthday party to attend in the evening. yay!
