Silly Question: Sagrada Familia
I'm going to book our tickets and trying to figure out what time. With what I've found about opening hours for sites we want to visit, we're going to end up going to SF on Easter Sunday.
Now for the silly question; is "MASS AT THE PARISH CHURCH OF THE SAGRADA FAM?LIA" mean the church itself?
eta: and is there a simple website to use for planning transportation on the metro?
Re: Silly Question: Sagrada Familia
here is the metro map. Sagrada has its very own stop. The subway is very simple to use (remember you need to hit the button on the train car doors to have then open)

as for the church, i am not sure. from our tour, they do have masses they for big occasions and Easter might qualify as one. i'm sorry i can't be more helpful.
also buy a ticket to go up to the roof...great views. and my DH is an architect so he was WAY into the building but we spent four hours there. we could have easily spent more.
I have found the BCN metro sight terrible to use!!
That's why I posted this.

I've been using ooolalalol?s advice for all of our planning.
I believe the parish church holds mass in the crypt, but I'm not certain. The website definitely distinguishes between mass held in the parish church and mass held in the basilica (the former being much more common, since the building is still under construction).

Here's a post on TripAdvisor from last year that seems to have some more details:

As for route planning, Google Maps has the metro stops marked, so I would just cross-reference that with a basic subway map.
ETA - You can also try using Google Maps' directions function using the Public Transit option. I did a few quick test, and it seems to come up with fairly logical suggestions.
Thanks for the input; according to the website there's mass at 9a, 11:45a and 8:15p; so I think we're going to try to buy tix for something btwn 2 and 6p.
Thanks for the metro help; I did find Barcelona's metro site
