It's finally FRIDAY! What are your plans for the weekend? Anyone got any dates?
Tonight, BF and I are going to a dance. He'll work on cleaning up around his house tomorrow while I do my taxes and possibly some work stuff, then we're having friends over for dinner. Sunday, breakfast with an older couple who lives down the street from BF, then probably relaxing until the evening, when I have dance classes. A moderately busy weekend.
Re: Plans for the weekend?
The LO and I are getting over a bout with RSV this week.
BUT, we are doing better and I am hoping to get the ok from the doctor to go to an event this weekend. There is a kids expo I would love to take DD to... but I wont go if she is contagious.
TGIF! Tonight I'm having a fun night by myself. I will be drinking wine, baking hamantaschen (cookies for Purim) and listening to country music!
Tomorrow I'm going to a nearby town with friends for a St. Patty's day of drinking and having fun. I plan on spending all day there from brunch to nightfall and possibly staying over.
Sunday I will be recovering from Saturday.
Tonight, I want to eat my weight in sashimi and go to bed at 7:30. Ok, maybe those are both overstatements, but I am craving sashimi, and I've been out WAY too late a few nights in a row this week. Turning early sounds divine.
Saturday, I am doing a photo shoot, as well as assisting with hair and makeup for another. BF is bartending the local St. Patrick's Day pub crawl, so I'll probably use Saturday night to catch up on laundry and cleaning.
Sunday isn't fully formed, but I know we're having dinner with two other couples.
So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.
Tonight I have to work at my second job, however I turned in my notice so as of next week I will be a free woman--woohoo!
Tomorrow BF and I are having dinner with one of my dearest friends and her DH.
Other than that there is nothing planned--and I love it!

I'm heading into the district today for lunch with former coworkers, a mani-pedi, and picking up girl scout cookies!
Tonight is cleaning, laundry, bad tv, and yummy wine.
Tomorrow, I'm headed out to the salon for a hair cut and color, and then first date with D...though I don't think we've quite decided where yet.

Fridays are my half days at work! Woohoo! I have a quick dr appt when I leave here, hair highlighted and trimmed this afternoon, seeing C tonight for date night and trying to convince him we should scoot out of town just for the night, but we'll probably just do dinner, drinks and maybe a movie and then to my place.
Saturday is craft day and cleaning. A friend and I are making soap and hopefully I can get motivated to do a pinterest inspired project for my walls.
Sunday funday begins with brunch with friends (I already miss football season) and ends with C and I going to Hayes Carll! So excited!
Today I'm going to get my haircut tweaked, and then after that I've got a massage scheduled. Later I'm meeting with my manager to talk about a management position at work (yay!). I don't have any plans for tonight yet, but it will be something low key.
Tomorrow hopefully I'm going to start painting my bedroom. I'm super excited! Then tomorrow night I'm going with my roommate to see some live music and have some drinks.
Sunday I'll definitely be painting.
Kind of a busy weekend.
Tonight - drinks after work at my favorite local bar with two of my best girlfriends!! It's like walking into Cheers - everybody knows our names and as soon as the bartender sees us, he pours us our pitcher of Moon's. It will be heavy drinking night!!
Saturday - laying around all day and then off to my parents to celebrate their friends 75th birthday party. A lot of my family will be there so I'm excited to see them.
Sunday - hanging out with my friend and his son, we'll be heading to the dog park, records stores and goodwills/salvation army's for books and records! Can't wait!
I had a date scheduled tonight with the wrestler and he confirmed on Tuesday but when I texted him this morning to figure out a time he told me he couldn't make it because he had to work late and can we do it Sunday instead. Jury is still out as to whether I'll give him another chance... After work today I am taking my son to the airport, he is going up to see his dad for spring break - 8 days of no responsibilities ahead of me! So excited!! I'll probably just hit the gym tonight after and go to bed early. I'm so tired the last 2 days
Tomorrow I'm going to go to yoga at 8 and then I have a session with my personal trainer at 11. I think I'll take a nice long nap in the afternoon. Going to try to get a massage later in the afternoon. Then I have a my first date with EMT... We're going out to dinner but not sure where.
Sunday I'm going to go to church, the gym and I'm supposed to have coffee with this other new guy too. Not sure if that will materialize. Then I have to decide if I want to do dinner with the wrestler...
Pretty busy. I woke up at 4:30am this morning to come into work early and good things done. I had three client meetings yesterday and three today which is absolutely insane (normally we have one, sometimes two if we're really busy).
Friend from San Jose is coming into town today and four of us are going to dinner. DS will stay with a sitter.
Saturday: running with the besties and DS in the stroller. I have to go to a cake tasting with friend from San Jose in the afternoon and DS is going to a b-day party with XH. Saturday night probably just hanging with DS and friend from SJ.
Sunday: four mile running event. We've got lunch riding on whoever is the winner. My mom will be back in town so she wants to see DS. I have a wine date Sunday evening.
Is this the cowboy again or someone new? Inquiring minds want to know!
Tonight: Running 5 miles with the BF.
Tomorrow: 1.2 mile Open water swim with the BF and then off to the beach with the dogs.
Sunday: 50 mile bike ride in the Houston area.
They see us rollin'...they be hatin'.
Tonight after work manicure and pedicure.
Saturday, I am going to a anniversary party with my daughter for the Ballet Studio. It will be nice to dress up. I bought a new dress, new heals and will have beautiful fingers and toes. BF will entertain himself at my home until we are done. Then he can reap the benefits of to much drink and me feeling good when I get home.
Sunday I plan to work in the yard. It feels like spring is coming.
H moves out tomorrow, and I will clean up after he leaves to make sure the house is in showing condition since it was listed last night. I have a birthday dinner I was invited to, not sure if I will feel up to going or not. We shall see. Otherwise I will work on a exam I have for a class.
Sunday, is church and probably finishing up the exam, grocery shopping and getting ready for a new week.
I'm so glad its Friday! Its been a long week!
Tonight, I'm meeting a friend for HH and then I get to go see another friend's new baby (he was born last night
).
Tomorrow, I have a birthday party for another friend.
Sunday, I think I will just relax and enjoy a low-key kind of day.
This weekend is going to be nuts. It started at 5:30 am this morning when ds woke up with a ton of energy. So we went to running club at his school. Then I came into work. On my lunch hour I have to go back to his school and read a book to his class (it's read-a-thon week). Then come back to work and finish up a big project so I can not have to think about it over the weekend. Tonight I take ds to his first swimming lesson in a long time. I hope he does ok.
Tomorrow we are going to the farmer's market and then at 11 ds has a baseball game. After the game we are having lunch with my parents. In the afternoon I am sure ds will run about the block with his neighborhood friends while bf and I finish cleaning out our garage so we can actually get a car in there. Saturday night bf has tickets to the local pro soccer game. I usually go, but we have ds this weekend so he will go with a friend. I am actually excited to sit on the couch by myself in silence for a bit tomorrow night.
Sunday bf offered to watch ds for an hour so I can go to yoga in the morning. Then ds and I have a lunch and playdate with a boy and his mom from ds' school.
Oh, and somewhere in there I have to write a final paper for my business law class and take the exam for my IT class.
I want to cry just typing this all out ...
Congrats! Enjoy the celebration in your honor!
Thanks! Amongst my friends I am always the responsible one who has like one drink and stops just because I always drive myself and in case someone else needs a ride home. My best friend has decided that she is driving tonight and I am having multiple drinks b/c I deserve it. It is nice to be appreciated for all my hardwork and dedication.
Partied too hard both Wednesday and Thursday night this week so tonight I'm staying in and relaxing.
Tomorrow I plan to catch up on some work.
Sunday I'm meeting a new match dot com guy for a drink. He does not wear his phone clipped to his belt and has never owned a Hummer and never plans to. Yes, I asked.
