Storing kid puzzles

Hello ladies,

I have got 2 kids and a big bunch of puzzles... which puzzle me in terms of storage :)))

My main problem is those big puzzles, which are not kept in a box, but are supposed to be inserted in even bigger frames (am not explaining very clearly, do you see what I mean?) So, I really do not know where to store them. They are too big to stick in any box I have at home (46 cm long), and so far they are just randomly put on tables, coffee tables, floors, etc. i would like them to be easily accessible for kids to play but I am tired of having them literally EVERYWHERE.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

Re: Storing kid puzzles

  • My kids destroy the boxes, so I have started cutting the finished picture of the puzzle off the box and putting that and the pieces in a ziploc.  DD has a few that are really similar so I also started marking the back of each with a symbol so I know which piece belongs to which puzzle.  They are only doing the small puzzles right now so it isn't much to keep up on.

I really like this idea. My DD has puzzles and always mixes up the pieces and I am never able to figure out which goes to which so they end up getting tossed. I think I might have to start doing this in order to save from tossing money in the trash!
