My BF and I saw Hayes Carll last Saturday night @ Gruene Hall!
He put on a great performance. The John Evans Band opened for him, who is opening the show you're going to see?

They see us rollin'...they be hatin'.
Re: NYG&P, come in!
I LOVE Gruene Hall!
Brace yourself, it's a fundraiser at a supper club and Ray Wiley Hubbard (le sigh) will be there with Sara Hickman, Marley's Ghost, Lisa Morales, Patrice Pike and Sideshow Tramps.
I hope MCC stumbles in if she's never heard Hayes Carll. My theme song for the moment is Drunken Poet's Dream. I saw him at HOB Dallas last summer and it was awesome!
We saw Ray Wiley Hubbard about a month ago! It appears as though we have similar taste in music.
I am sending you a pm. Give me about 5 minutes...

VERY good performer. At Gruene Hall, there were young ones there all the way to people in their 80's... I shityounot! Seriously. Awesome.
Also, check out Max Stalling, he is one of my favs and plays at a famous little dive close to where I live. John Evans Band is also good, the bass player's hair is fabulous!
