Does anyone have recommendations for hot rollers or do I need to go ask ML or F&B?

Re: S/o Hair
I DO! Best rollers ever! I know HS uses these too.
The Remington Pearl Ceramic Heated Clip Rollers.
Here's a link.
And a pic
The rollers are covered in velvet so they don't snag or damage your hair and the clips heat up too, so you get heat surrounding the curl. They take a minute and a half to heat up and 5-10 minutes to set.
I use them 1-2 times a week.

The only reason I replaced them was because the plastic dome top cracked in half. I replaced them with a Remington set, which is okay, but I still like the Conair Instant heat ones the best. These are the Remington ones that I have:

Awesome, I was looking at those ones at Target the other day and almost got them but decided to wait. Good to know they're TIP tried and true.
My hair doesn't hold curl very well and using a curling iron in the morning would take me an hour at least...and by that time one side would be limp already. Hopefully these will solve my problem!
I use those too, but I have issues with my hair getting caught in the groove and the clips pop off of the roller when they are in my hair. I suppose now that my hair is shorter I may no longer have these issues.
Yes, I can see that...if you have too much hair wrapped around a roller, it would be hard for the clip to hold.
Honestly, I don't even use all of them at a time. My hair gets huge bouncy curls when I use maybe 2/3 of them - if I use them all, I start looking a little too Shirley Temple.
Mort, if you still have that problem, you can just do smaller pieces of hair, leave the box plugged in, and reheat a few of the rollers to finish off your whole head. Sometimes I redo a curl or two that way if I find it's not as curly as I'd like.
I use all 20 in the set, so I was trying to cram all of my hair into the 20 rollers. 25-30 rollers would probably be better. I usually don't have time in the a.m. to wait for the rollers to cool and then roll the rest and let them cool. I let them cool in my hair for about 20 mins or so before taking them out. The curls are great when I take them out, but within an hour or two the ends just tip and the majority of the curl is gone. It's like that even if I put less hair in the roller. I'm sure it's my hair type that's the issue.
The metal clips in the Conair set don't pop off, so that's one of the reasons I like them better.
