My sweet 10 year old lab, Grace hurt her knee last night. She was jumping around like she always does when she knows that I'm about to feed her. But this time she landed wrong & let out a loud yelp. When she was at the vet the last time for her annual check up they told me that both of her back knees looked bag & it would only be a matter of time before they gave out. This morning when I got up she couldn't put any weight on it so I took her straight to the vet. She completly blew out her knee (tore her ACL) and she's having emergency surgery today to repair it.
Please keep my sweet Grace in you thoughts & Prayers. She's such a good dog.
Thanks.

April Nesties March siggy challenge: Next Vacation, Anguilla!!
She's been taking glucosamine & condrotin(sp?) for about a year. The vet said that she has severe arthritis in her other leg & the vet thinks that it could go (the ACL) anytime. I'm praying that it holds out at least long enough for her to heal.
She came thru surgery well. I'm supposed to call the vet tomorrow morning to see what the next step is. Pray that her other knee doesn't blow out while this one's healing.
Thanks girls!
Poor puppy! Glad to hear the surgery went well, I'm sending many healing vibes her way!
