Weight Lifting - shoe recs
I just started New Rules of Lifting for Women and I dont like the old walking shoes I am wearing right now. Any suggestions?
Re: Weight Lifting - shoe recs
I will be keeping an eye on this. I just googled around and found some reviews. There's a new Reebok shoe out that is lighter weight than some of the other weight lifting shoes.
And it's purple, but I shouldn't just pick based on that

Same here. You want something with a very flat sole and not a lot of cushion. I really like my NB Minimuses.

Nike Frees are my shoe of choice for lifting.
A lot of lifters also wear old school Converse Chuck Taylors. The key is minimal cushioning.

A LOT of people at my CrossFit box wear Inov8s - I will probably buy a pair soon, but I just bought new running shoes (asics gel nimbus 13) so I need to spread out my purchases. I bought the new balance minimus shoes, but I didn't like how they felt when they bent (like when you stand on your toes) so I returned them.
