which fam vaca: disney cruise or virgin islands?
we have a 5 yr old was leaning towards a cruise for our fam vaca, but my dh suggested the virgin islands tonight while at dinner so now i am not sure. which would you choose?
thx for any input!
Re: which fam vaca: disney cruise or virgin islands?
I don't have kids. I've never been on a cruise, let alone a Disney cruise. Yes, I have been to St. Thomas for vacation.
Disney Cruise. 100%. If your kid has any idea that Disney exists, yes, go for a Disney Cruise. From my understanding, at least the cruise has some babysitting in case you and DH want some alone time.
Leave the kid at home when you want to spend some lovely time at the Virgin Islands.

Another vote for the Disney Cruise. Disney goes above and beyond in terms of customer service and there is something for every age group (I went on a family reunion cruise when I was 18, and I had a blast--so did my little cousins and my older relatives... they have things for everyone to do).
I agree with the posts above... Virgin Islands would be more of a couple's vacation, IMO.
