Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

AW -- We're Official!
We signed the adoption papers today! J is finally legally a part of our family forever!
Now we just have the US visa process to get through, which should take about another 2 +/- weeks. My husband and M return to the US next Friday, so I hope the rest of the process doesn't take much longer. It would be nice to return shortly after.
ETA: I wanna post more pics, but might wait until I have a faster internet connection. It takes forever here!

There's a poster on ML now, mom2danes or something like that, who did something similar to what you are. She and her husband went to Russia to adopt a little boy and wound up also adopting his best friend.
Husbands should be like Kleenex: Soft, strong, and disposable.
