Friday Confessions
I haven't synced my ipod since Christmas, so there's still an inordinate amount of Christmas music on it. At my last job, I just listened to the radio a lot. I have real crappy radio signal in my new building, so I brought my ipod (my little radio has an ipod dock). I've just had it on shuffle all week. Several Christmas songs have come on without me noticing until like halfway through the song. My boss busted me yesterday - she can in to talk to me about something, noticed, and said "why are you listening to Christmas music?"

I ate cereal at home this morning. Then I went through McDonald's to get a coffee. Ellie was really cranky so I got her an egg mcmuffin because I thought she might be hungry and just not telling me so. She didn't eat the mcmuffin....so I did.
I hit my head really hard on the car door this morning and my nose is super sore.
I need to go back to bed and forget this day happened.
I'm having a lot of trouble adjusting to my new work schedule. I know once I get in a routine, I'll be fine. My confesion? i've stopped at Starbucks the past 2 mornings and gotten chais - VENTI Chais. but i've justified it because I have a gift card.
I just need an IV drip of this shiiit right now.
I ate 2 servings of chocolate pudding and 3 fun size packs of M&Ms last night. This morning, I had a cereal bar on the way to school. Then, a lunchroom lady offered to make me a sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit, so I said yummy. (I did not eat the turkey bacon and yogurt I had packed.... like that makes it any better). I had 2 packs of whoppers out of my prize box and then got a Diet Dr Pepper, my first carbonated beverage in over a month. For lunch, I had steak tips and a sweet potato. I didn't even touch my salad. It's not like iceburg lettuce is nutritious anyway. I comfort myself with food. I'll regret it tomorrow.
1/3 flameful, 1/3 confession, 1/3 vent:
My SIL just announced on FB yesterday that she was PG w/ #3. Said "had to keep it under wraps for awhile due to some complications (that still exist), but I'm pregnant! High risk, but still so excited."
This isn't the bad part (as I knew she was PG and had several issues with it). The bad part is: she is only 6 weeks along!!!! I think she's dumb to announce it to the whole world at this time.
Danny and I decided (when the time comes) we weren't telling anyone we were PG--save for my mom--until after the 12 week mark just in case of something happening. I don't know if I can be so supportive of SIL if something bad happens....so I'm just praying for a H&H 9mos and keeping my big mouth shut.
