Next week at work we are having a lunch fundraiser for Relay for Life, and I volunteered to make cupcakes. Here are the options so far:
Oreo
Smores
Apple pie
Cinnamon toast crunch
Any other suggestions? It's on the 16th so we are wearing our green a day early and I got cute green cupcake liners.
Other things you might need to know... I have made s'mores cupcakes and the Oreo cupcakes for work events before. We also will have our 2nd annual cupcake contest (again, a relay for life fundraiser) this summer. So I am hesitant to do a new one... I need to save something fancy for the contest!
Re: Cupcake dilemma
What about a plain variety for those who have "vanilla" taste when it comes to desserts? (no pun intended)
Other than that I saw a delicious looking red velvet cupcake that I'm now craving. So red velvet?
ETA: Of the above options, I'd pick apple pie if you aren't doing a variety. That sounds amazing!
I was going to say this too. I have a receipe from 5280 magazine for an incredible guiness cake. You can do it as cupcakes. I'll send it to you of you want.
Im going to make it for my best friends husband and his brother for st Patrick's day. They are Irish and I LOVE to bake... But can't eat it on this diet lol
