s/o High Altitude Training: Humidity
I've been at sea-level for 2 weeks and I have come to the conclusion I'd rather run at high altitude in dry air than at sea level in 80-100% humidity.
Yuck.
Re: s/o High Altitude Training: Humidity
Yes. My hometown is super humid in the summer. I trained for a half in September one year, and it was awful. I'll never train for a race in the early fall again, and I almost never exercise outside in the summer here.
I go out to CO a couple of times a year (stay at about 9000 feet), and once I get through the first day of adjustment, I love working out there.
Yes,I'm smiling...I'm a marathoner!
